The crux of the matter

Christ died for our sins. But if you've grown up in a Christian family, how do relate to that dead-end, empty-headed life you grew up in?

Have you read "Consuming Passion" http://www.ekklesia.co.uk/content/news_syndication/article_050726consumingpassion.shtml ? It has left me wondering if Jesus did not die so much for our sins, but because of our sins.

You might find this discussion on a related theme, interesting, especially the contribution from Anonymous4 http://crossring.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=11945#11945

Btw, I hope the doctor was reassuring and his opinion was based on sound evidence.

I get tired every Winter. I think our bodies are programmed to sleep more when the days are darker. Getting out for a dose of fresh air and sunlight might help, but the answer may well be to go to bed earlier. Perhaps we shouldn't try to do too much in the Winter months either, despite the prevailing culture.

Still, Spring is on its way and the days are lengthening. God is good! :0)
